TLN Television celebrates the New Year with a tribute to legendary Italian director Quentin Tarantino. This January, catch Tarantino classics every Saturday starting May 6th at 9pm/et.

TLN’s Tarantino lineup includes cult favourite Pulp Fiction, a masterpiece deemed by critics to be one of the most significant works of modern cinema, and Jackie Brown, considered Tarantino’s smartest and most understated movie.

PULP FICTION
Starring: Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Bruce Willis and Uma Thurman.

Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) work as hit men for crime boss Marcellus Wallace (Ving Rhames. Wallace is currently dealing with Butch Collidge (Bruce Willis), a boxer who failed to throw a fight after taking Wallace's money and is now planning to flee the city, but can't leave his father's watch behind. Vincent faces some problems of his own when Wallace asks him to show his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) a good time while he's away. Some of these people redeem themselves and some don't, and all meet an end appropriate to their choices.

JACKIE BROWN
Starring: Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Forster

44 year old flight attendant Jackie Brown gets caught with gun dealer Ordell Robbie's money and to get the ATF off her back she sets up Ordell with her new friend, a bail bondsman named Max Cherry. But what the ATF doesn't know, is that they are part of her wild plan to get Ordell's half million dollars and get off scott free. However, she has to do it under the noses of both Ordell, the ATF man and a local cop. What she doesn't know is Ordell's blonde beach bunny wants the money for herself as does Ordell's ex-con friend.

KILL BILL VOLUME 1

"The Bride" was the deadliest assassin of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, until the day she decided to leave the business, assume a new identity, and get married. The event catches the attention of the "Basterds", a group of Jewish-American guerrilla soldiers led by the ruthless Lt. Aldo Raine. As the relentless executioners advance, their paths will cross for a fateful evening that will shake the annals of history.
