October is a significant month for Hispanic and Spanish-speaking communities worldwide, and in Canada it is proudly designated as Latin American Heritage Month. As Canada's most influential multicultural media leader, TLN Media Group celebrates Latin American Heritage Month with a series of community initiatives and broadcast specials, both on the network’s Spanish language TV channel Univision Canada and its flagship culturally connected English language channel TLN TV. Día de los Muertos is a celebration of Mexican and Latin American culture where people welcome back the souls of their deceased loved ones.
