Inaugural Edition of UniversalCare Strides for Seniors
TLN Media Group was a proud supporter of the inaugural UniversalCare Strides for Seniors. We proudly joined over a dozen organizations and hundreds of individuals on Saturday, October 2, 2021 for a 5km and 2.5km route throughout Downsview Park, offering a fun-filled day of scenic routes, food trucks, entertainment and activities for all ages.
The event was a great success raising nearly $275,000 for four charities in the Region: United Way – Greater Toronto, Humber River Hospital Foundation, Mackenzie Health Foundation, and Runnymede Healthcare Centre. The funds will go directly towards several programs in the region as well as supporting a better quality of life for the seniors in our lives.
