Antonio Giorgi was present at Real Sports on July 18, 2022, for the introductory Toronto FC press conference of Federico Bernardeschi. The Italian attacker, who arrived on a free transfer following his contract expiry with Juventus, signed a deal with The Reds through 2026.

Although Bernardeschi had various offers from clubs in Europe, he ultimately decided on joining The Reds for several reasons; most importantly of all, his love for the city and the future project of the team.
