TLN Media Group is proud to support arts-based initiatives such as the “MAMMA, In the Meantime,” a photographic exhibition by Canadian-Italian artist Tony Luciani. Presented by Villa Charities, this is the photographic tale of an extraordinary relationship between the artist and his mother Elia as they embark on a journey of discovery where art becomes the perfect medium to express the grief and wonders of living with dementia.
Tony’s work demonstrates that life does not end at diagnosis and the series creates awareness of dementia, helps end the stigma associated with being diagnosed and shows the benefits of receiving help. The exhibition continues until April 2, 2018, at Toronto’s Columbus Centre in the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery, which is free and open to the public Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
