Gino’s Italian Coastal Escape - NEW SEASON! 

After taking us on his Mediterranean coastal journey, Gino hops over to the other side of Italy to reveal the undiscovered delights of the Adriatic Coast, visiting the destinations that are growing in popularity with tourists from across the world. Travelling in a classic Italian car, Gino drives the entire length of the coast, showcasing the must see, must do and must taste, as well as sharing some delicious locally inspired recipes. 

This six-part TLN original docuseries explores multiculturalism in Quebec through the lens of the province’s diverse culinary traditions. Join renowned Montreal chef and restaurateur Michele Forgione as he travels to six communities across the region to meet Italian Canadian families that share their inspiring stories, traditions, and passion for food.

TLN Media Group and The Canadian Ethnic Media Association (CEMA) are thrilled to partner again for the TV premiere of the 44th Annual CEMA Awards for Journalistic Excellence, which will be broadcast nationally on TLN Television Saturday, December 3rd at 5PM/ET (TLN now on FREE Preview).

The best work of some of Canada’s multicultural journalists, accomplished through the past year, will be showcased in a special 60-minute television presentation.

Our fearless leader, TLN Media Group President, Aldo Di Felice is among those recognized by the Canadian Ethnic Media Association (CEMA) this year with the 2022 Sierhey Khmara Ziniak Lifetime Achievement Award for unswerving dedication to multiculturalism and its affirmative expression through media.

1943: Operation Husky. The Canadian Landing in Sicily

On July 10, 1943, more than 25,000 men from the 1st Canadian Infantry Division landed in Pachino, Italy, marking the beginning of the Sicilian campaign. The project, dubbed Operation Husky, represented the first independent role in the Second World War for Canadian soldiers who were successful in knocking down German defenses in Sicily.
