Catch new episodes of TLN Media Group commissioned series Speaking Freely Mondays at 8P/ET. The series of one-hour specials is hosted by Dr. Rafael Gomez, Professor of Employment Relations at the University of Toronto, and produced by Render Media at the TLN Media Group Studios in Toronto’s Columbus Centre. Speaking Freely examines the past, present and future of Canadian democracy and our multicultural society. Where have we come from, where are we now and where are we going? To address these questions, we interview regular citizens and experts who are willing to speak freely about the issues that matter to Canadians.

Nominations for the TLN 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians are now closed and we are excited by the surmounting number of submissions received from across the country. Stay tuned for the finalists announcement where the public will have a chance to cast their vote and be part of choosing this year's award recipients! Voting will take place at tln.ca/top10 - stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks!

TLN Media Group is a proud annual sponsor of Italfest MTL Hosted by our very own Antonio Giorgi. For 30 years, ItalfestMTL has honored the beauty and riches of Italy in its beloved metropolis and TLN Media Group has been a proud annual festival partner. Italians and non-Italians will gather for the festivities from August 4-20th to live the Dolce Vita.  


As Canada’s largest curator of Italian films and producer of Original Canadian multicultural content with a catalogue of hundreds of hours, TLN will feature two Original documentaries and a feature Italian subtitiled film as part of this year's festival:

Italofobia: L’Esodo dal Quebec 

TLN Original documentary Italofobia: L’Esodo dal Quebec directed by award-winning Montreal native Anthony Sarracco, sheds light on the history of the Italian Canadian immigrant experience in Québec and explores the key themes of sovereignty, assimilation, and the social stigma faced by the community, while highlighting their significant contributions and dispelling fears held by other cultures.

Guido Nincheri: Il Michelangelo Canadese

This TLN original documentary, produced in collaboration with Colombian born – Canadian, award-winning Director Jaime Escallon-Buraglia, intimately explores the life and artistic legacy of Guido Nincheri, known as Canada's Michelangelo, through the eyes of his grandson, Roger, as he embarks on a personal journey to visit St. Anne Varnes in Quebec and complete the narrative of his grandfather's remarkable works.
